Use the same budget list in Google Sheets. Download the CSV, import it with File, then Import, and you have a sheet you can share with your family. Replace the sample rows and start tracking the month.

  1. Download the file. In Google Sheets, choose File, then Import, then Upload.
  2. Select the downloaded CSV and choose Replace spreadsheet or Insert new sheet.
  3. Replace the sample rows. Keep the first row as the column names.

Import the template in three steps

Download the CSV. In Google Sheets, choose File, then Import, then Upload, and select the file. Choose Replace spreadsheet for a new sheet, or Insert new sheet to keep your other tabs.

Share it with your family

Google Sheets lets you share the file with people who need to add entries. Give editing rights only to people you trust, and keep a copy for each month so old totals stay unchanged.

Do I need a Google account?

Yes, to open the file in Google Sheets. The template itself is free and needs no budgetbaba account.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Google Sheets works in the mobile browser and in its app.

Will the sample rows be deleted?

No. Replace or delete them yourself after you import.
